Since 2004, SDMAC has supported our local military community by advancing the partnership and communication between the military, elected officials, and the business community while serving as a strong advocate for those who serve, or have served, and their families. Our goal is to:

SDMAC serves as a collective voice for its members, advocating for policies and initiatives that support the defense industry and military community in San Diego. By joining SDMAC, members contribute to a strong advocacy platform, influencing decision-makers and promoting the interests of the defense sector.

   Inform

Access to timely and relevant information about the defense industry, military affairs, and government policies affecting the San Diego region. Members gain insights into defense contracts, procurement opportunities, legislative updates, and technological advancements, keeping them informed and better positioned to make informed business decisions. Our annual Military Economic Impact Report, the only report of its kind, highlights the economic impacts of military spending, job creation, contracts, and retirement benefits that contribute to San Diego’s overall GDP.

   Connect

We connect key stakeholders in the San Diego military community, including military leaders, government officials, defense industry professionals, and fellow members. This networking can lead to valuable business connections, collaborations, and career opportunities.

Our monthly breakfast events feature top military leadership, local policymakers, and local business leaders. SDMAC also offers Legislative Town Halls, After-Hours Networking Mixers, VIP Base Tours, and our Annual Achievement Awards. All of these events offer you an opportunity to connect, network, partner, and learn.
